Napoleone Methode Traditionnelle Pear Cider is released on a limited basis by our winemakers.
This sparkling Pear cider was made using a blend of 40% Packham’s Triumphand 60% Beurre Bosc pears, a combination that enhances complexity and flavour.
We use the ‘Traditional Method’ technique, comprising bottle fermentation and aging on yeast lees for up to 3 months. Disgorged April 2014.
This elegant cider displays aromas of baked pear, white flowers and hints of almond meal, complemented by a subtle brioche character.
The delicate pear characters are balanced beautifully with a twist of citrus freshness, a fine bead and a creamy textural mouthfeel. Bottle fermentation, lees contact, no dosage and the natural sweetness of the fruit provides excellent balance and length of flavour.
