Head Brewer & Brewery Operations Manager
With over 12 years experience in the Australian Craft Brewing industry as a brewer, Glenn has found himself a home in the beautiful Yarra Valley as Brewery Operations Manager at Napoleone Brewery and Cider House.
Glenn’s passion for beer and the industry has brought him to Napoleone with a lot of new ideas and ways to bring the beers to a wider audience. When he isn’t at the brewery or away somewhere judging beer at a variety of beer competitions, you will find him either trying to keep his active 4 and half-year-old son entertained or just relaxing with a beer, wine, cider or spirit (not much he won’t drink as long as it is quality) with his beautiful wife.
Glenn’s Favourite beer style is Stout but really enjoys any style of beer as long as it is well made and the people behind the product show the same level of passion as he does.
Also a keen cricketer, Glenn has a nice scar above his left eye to show that you should always wear a helmet when batting!
Scott has beer in his blood, and we’re not just talking all the ESB he drinks… Back in the 1980’s his family bought The Australia Hotel in Corowa, where he worked and helped run the pub and bottle shop until 2001. From there he moved in to the wine industry and worked in Rutherglen for a while doing stints at Cofields Wines, Warrabilla and Stanton & Killeen as cellar door manager and sales rep.
Not long after, Scott caught the travel bug and decided to get a taste for wine making. Becoming a fully qualified wine maker and viticulturist in 2013 he did 6 months in in California on vintage, 2 vintages in WA and finally 3 in the Yarra Valley. Starting up at Punt Road in 2009 and moving to Healesville in 2010, Scott brings immense knowledge across the board. Venue management, wine making techniques and a love for all things beer, there isn’t much he doesn’t know…
